This 1-day workshop is an introduction to using PastPerfect collections management software for donor contact management, registering and cataloguing artifacts, and using multi-media features to publish objects to an online database. This course will be taught using Nomenclature 4.0.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Sean Corscadden, Senior Collections Technician
Calgary Police Interpretive Centre
Sean grew up in New Brunswick where received a Bachelor in Fine Arts from Mount Allison University. His studies there primary focused on analogue photographic and printmaking processes. Sean then attended Ryerson University and George Eastman House, where he received a Master of Arts in Photographic Preservation and Collections Management.
Currently, Sean works for the Calgary Police Interpretive Centre as their senior collections technician. Their collections house everything from firearms, uniforms, photographic equipment, criminal case files and crime scene evidence.
